The United Kingdom chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as the liar of the year 2018.
This is following the former Vice President’s admittance that he did not speak with the widow of Lt. Col. Ibrahim Sakaba.
Col. Sakaba is one of the soldiers killed by Boko Haram at Metele last month.
Atiku had earlier via his Twitter handle, claimed to have spoken with the soldier’s widow as a form of consolation.
However, the grieving woman, came out to rubbish the claim, saying she never spoke with Atiku.
In a post it entitled, ‘LIAR OF THE YEAR’, and shared on Twitter, the APC said:
“@atiku BUSTED! Widow of slain soldier says he didn’t phone her!
“LIAR LIAR (2018) COMING TO A STREET NEAR YOU.
“COMEDY-FANTASY POLITICAL CAMPAIGN DIRECTED BY ATIKULATED STUDIOS. MORE LIES IN THE OFFING!”
