The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Abia State, Alex Otti, has vowed to reclaim what he described as his stolen mandate, allegedly robbed by the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 election.
Otti further vowed to resist any attempt by the ruling government in the state, to manipulate the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in Abia to its favour.
He stated that in an interview with newsmen on Sunday, in Umuahia, claiming that there were a lot of rots in every facets of the state economy, caused by PDP misrule in Abia.
The governorship hopeful stressed the need for all Abians to rise up, and salvage the state from the shackles of bad governance.
Otti pointed out that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu-led government has failed to live up to the expectations of Abia people, stressing that the present administration has nothing to show as achievements since assumption of office in 2015.
His words, “We are prepared. We came to develop the state. We want to stop the rots. And the theme of our campaign is enough is enough!
“We have gone through a lot of rots in this state. And it is the time to break the chain and liberate our people. And we must do it this time around.
“Every hand must on deck and we cannot continue like that. Abia is the worst state in Nigeria. There is nothing to show for it. There are no infrastructural amenities in any parts of the state. Abia has money. But not about the money, the money not being used for the purpose it was meant for.
“My message to all Abia people is that we must all rise up to liberate this state. And say enough is enough”.
“People are now wise. What happened in 2015 will not happen in 2019, where they wrote results. We will do everything possible to ensure that results coming from the polling units are the results declared”.
