Sam Hart, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to the Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has hinted that former Anambra Governor, Peter Obi, may be chosen as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate in the 2019 general elections.
Hart, who took part in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election in Port Harcourt, the Rivers s State capital, posted a picture with Obi on his Twitter feed and described him as the “likely VP”.
“A good day to flaunt relationship with likely VP Okwute. Taken minutes ago in PH.
“He said he was hungry and we went to grab a meal. Crowd queued up to famz him,” he wrote.
Atiku, who won the primaries on Sunday, is yet to announce who he will campaign with ahead of next year’s polls.
