2018 World Cup qualifiers: Rohr releases 28-man squad for Cameroon clash [Full List]

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has released the names of players that will face Cameroon in next month’s crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Captain John Mikel Obi makes a return to the team.

Chelsea’s Victor Moses and defender Leon Balogun are also included, after being sidelined by injury.

The players that make the squad include goalkeepers Dele Alampasu, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi, who was heavily blamed for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier home defeat to South Africa in June.

Other players are Tyronne Ebuehi, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Elderson Echiejile, Shehu Abdulahi, Chidozie Awaziem, Odion Ighalo, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and John Ogu.

Henry Onyekuru, Uche Agbo, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, Ibrahim Alhassan are placed on stand-by.
