2018 World Cup: How Rohr’s son helped Super Eagles spy on Argentina

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

The Super Eagles’ last Group D opponents, Argentina, were watched by Emmanuel Rohr, son of the team’s head coach.

Emmanuel was in the crowd, as the South Americans were hammered 6-1 by Spain in a friendly match.

Nigeria will take on Argentina on June 26 in their final Group D fixture.

The Eagles have lost in all of their four previous meetings ‎with the Albaceleste and Rohr is keen to end this run, by gathering as much as he can about Lionel Messi and co.

“I sent my son Emmanuel who is studying for a diploma in coaching to spy on Argentina during the friendly game against Spain.

“He gave me a good report on the Argentines after the Spain friendly game. He was not there officially by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),” Rohr told SportingLife.
