Croatian coach, Zlatko Dalic has dismissed Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa, saying he is a bench warmer.
The player left Leicester City on loan to CSKA Moscow after failing to play himself into the team.
However, he is expected to play some role for Nigeria when they clash with Croati in a group D clash of the Russia 2018 World Cup on Saturday.
The Croatian coach also waved aside Gernot Rohr’s claim that Russian fans will back the Super Eagles because of Musa, Mikel Obi and Brian Idowu.
Dalic was asked during the pre-match conference if he is wary of the fact that Musa’s presence in the Nigerian team could swing support towards the Nigerians.
Dalic said, “Musa doesn’t play that much for his team. He is quick and we aware of it.
“I don’t know what Rohr was trying to say about support going the way of Nigeria in the game. We’ll play our normal game.”
