Chamberlain Oguchi has admitted that D’Tigers have a difficult task of qualifying from their Olympics group, which has Argentina, Spain, Lithuania and Brazil.

The Anwil Wloclawek of Poland point-guard, is hoping that the experience from the last Olympic Games in London, will help Nigeria, as they try to qualify for the quarter-finals in Rio this year.

“My first thought following the draw like most was, ‘Wow!'” he said to FIBA.com.

“Four top-10 teams – one being the host nation – make Group B an extremely competitive one.

“Argentina and Lithuania are teams we faced off with in the 2012 Olympic Games, so we have a fairly good idea of what to expect from these two teams in particular. Regardless, each team in Group B will have their work cut out for them if they intend to advance from the group.”

“Experience is an intangible asset that you can’t teach, and I believe our experience having played in the 2012 Olympics is something we can and will use to our advantage.”
