Founder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Power and Authority, Reverend Oludare Adedeji, has predicted violence in 2015 if President Goodluck Jonathan seeks re-election.

Speaking at his church at Aba Paanu area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, the cleric told Daily Independent that he foresaw bloodshed across the country if Jonathan forced himself on Nigerians in next year’s polls.

Adedeji argued that Jonathan had failed Nigerians with his inability to ensure the security of lives and property of the people in the last three and half years.

According to him, it would be a wise decision if Jonathan dropped his ambition.

He recalled that in 2011, Jonathan himself promised to spend only one term in office while seeking for votes.

Adedeji added that to avoid disintegration of Nigeria by 2016, the country must ensure that peace and unity of the citizenry was promoted.

While urging Nigerians to continue to pray against outbreak of civil war, Adedeji noted that the country was being sustained by the prayers of men of God.
