Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa
A former Governor of Kaduna state, Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa said that the birth of All Progressive Congress (APC) would bring about peaceful change in the country, come 2015.
The former governor maintained that as long as the People’s Democratic Party, PDP remains in power, there can’t be a peaceful change in the country.
Balarabe Musa who is the chairman of Conference of Nigerian Political Parties,CNPP, called on Nigerians to irrespective of all the difficulties and challenges support the APC with a view to reclaiming the country from PDP misrule.
His words: “From all indications, Nigerians have had enough of the leadership of PDP; so we heard from the opposition political parties and from the media. It is not even going to be opposition political parties, but opposition in general, because right now, we are hearing that up to 12 PDP governors from all over the country are joining the APC.
“We now assume a qualitative development in the politics of the country, irrespective of one’s party. People are feeling and yearning for fundamental change. PDP have over rigged itself negatively and so there should be a fundamental change; there is now an apparent re-alignment, not only within the opposition party but even within the PDP itself.
