Members of the Ascension Church in Enugu State on Wednesday organised a special prayer session for Gov. Sullivan Chime to enable him triumph at the 2015 elections.
Chime is said to be aspiring as a Senator Representing Enugu West Senatorial District under the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
In a sermon in Enugu, the state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rt. Rev. Christian Obiefuna, commended the governor and his team for impacting positively on the lives of citizens in the state.

“We must all join hands to pray in order to win whatever challenges we are facing politically in the state,” he said.
Responding, Chime urged members of the church to continue to pray for the progress of the state.
