2015: Anenih cannot save PDP – Minority Whip

Mr. Samson Osagie, Minority Whip of the House of Representatives has confidently avowed that despite the emergence of Chief Tony Anenih as Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the party would still be defeated by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2015 presidential election.

The lawmaker, who represents Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal constituency of Edo state said this at the weekend while distributing 27 tricycles, 25 motorcycles and over 88 grinding machines to people of his constituency at Ehor. He affirmed that the merger of major progressive opposition parties, will bring about the desired and long awaited change needed by the country.

Osagie regretted that PDP has failed the nation with its weak economic policies.

He said, “I have no doubt that with the coming together of progressive parties, APC will become the ruling party at the national level, and that is why the people at the rural level must gear up in readiness for what the Action Congress of Nigeria and its progressive partners have for the development of the country. We are not bothered about who is their BOT chairman or not because no body can save the PDP, come 2015 Presidency.”

On the items donated to his people, Osagie, explained that, “What we are doing is to enable our people to benefit from the fruits of democracy, through economic empowerment.”
