20 more ladies slaughtered in Maiduguri

The continuous killing of innocent souls is gradually becoming a norm in Bornu state as barely 24 hours after over ten people were slaughtered in the ancient city, another twenty ladies in mini skirts and trousers were again on Friday slaughtered in their homes in Maiduguri metropolis by some unidentified gunmen.

The ugly incident allegedly happened between 1am and 2am when people were deeply asleep due to the curfew imposed on the state recently.

DailyPost gathered from a source that the most affected area was Mary area; a major area where students of the University of Maiduguri live due to accommodation shortage on campus.

A source said ladies living at Gwange, London Chiki, Abbagaram and Kaleri areas were also attacked.

A JTF Commander confirmed the incident and assured that his men will bring all the perpetrators to book
