A 17-year-old girl, Chizoba Maduegbunam, suspected to be a child abductor has been arrested by the police in Lagos state.
The suspect was nabbed by community members on Thursday while attempting to abduct a child at Oto-Awori area of the state, Vanguard is reporting.
The residents subsequently took the suspect to the Oni- Ijanikin palace who handed her over to the Ijanikin Division of the state Police Command.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the report saying the case is currently under investigation.
