Tomorrow, Nigeria will host South Africa in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

1. This is the first match for both countries, in the race to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
2. The Super Eagles are still undefeated under Gernot Rohr.
3. The game will be played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. Kick-off time is 5pm.
4. It will be the first match in charge of the Bafana Bafana for Stuart Baxter, who replaced Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba recently. Baxter returns to the job he held between 2004 and 2005.
5. Players of the Super Eagles have received their bonus for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia this week.
6. Fans will pay between N1,000 and N2000 to watch the match.
7. Bafana denied Nigeria a place in the 2015 Afcon tournament in Equatorial Guinea thanks to a 2-2 draw at the same Uyo venue.
8. Baxter has already guided Bafana to a victory over Nigeria-back in November 2004.
9. Nigeria was absent at the last two editions of the AFCON.
