Barely one hour after an explosion killed many persons at the popular Maiduguri fish market in Baga, another bomb has gone off at a crowded commercial centre.
This time around, the bomb went off at an area called Post Office.
The casualty figure from the latest attack is expected to be high.
DAILY POST had earlier reported that a suicide bomber riding in a Keke Napep (transport tricycle) hit a crowded area in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, killing at least 10 people.
The explosion occurred about 10 am.
It was gathered that the suicide bomber tried to enter the popular Baga fish market motor park in Maiduguri when the blast went off.
The attack may have been carried out by the dreaded sect, Boko Haram.
The group had claimed responsibility for similar incidents in Maiduguri and other places.
Emergency operation is ongoing at the scene of the latest blast.
